Dr. Saurabh Kapoor is a highly skilled and accomplished pediatrician and neonatologist with extensive experience in the field. He completed his MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Bangalore, Karnataka. He further pursued his DNB Pediatrics, obtaining the Diplomate of National Board from Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, also in Bangalore. Dr. Kapoor’s passion for neonatology led him to complete the FIAP (Neonatology) – IAP Fellowship in Neonatology from Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.

With his dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills, Dr. Kapoor became a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) in New Delhi, India. He has received several awards and recognitions throughout his career, including being the State Level Winner of the IAP Quiz for Karnataka state in 2010 and being awarded the Best Outgoing Student at BLDEA SH.B.M.Patil Medical College in 2011.

Dr. Kapoor has a diverse range of expertise, having completed various specialized training programs and courses. He is well-versed in procedures such as intubation, ventilation, central lines, PICC lines, arterial lines, warmer care, ICDs, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, and more. He has also received training in point-of-care neonatal echocardiography and ultrasonography.

Throughout his career, Dr. Kapoor has gained valuable experience working in tertiary-level NICUs and PICUs with state-of-the-art facilities. He has worked in pediatric subspecialties, including neonatology, pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, neurology, hematology, and endocrinology. His expertise extends to handling complex cases and procedures, making him a trusted professional in his field.

Dr. Kapoor has contributed to the medical community through his research and publications. He has conducted a cross-sectional study to identify intraventricular hemorrhage and periventricular leukomalacia in preterm neonates admitted to a NICU in a tertiary care center. Additionally, he conducted a randomized controlled trial to determine the effect of chest shielding on the incidence of hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus in very preterm neonates under phototherapy. He has presented many research articles in various international and national conferences and symposium.

Currently, Dr. Saurabh Kapoor serves as a Consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology at Max Hospital in Mohali, Punjab. He is also the Director of NEST – A Complete Mother & Child Center in Panchkula, Haryana. Driven by his passion for providing quality healthcare to children and newborns, Dr. Kapoor continues to make significant contributions to the medical field and remains committed to improving the lives of his young patients.
